Jane Chapman

Jane Chapman has been illustrating for children for over twenty five years. Her books are published across the world in multiple languages. She writes stories too, but she relies on her editor to tell her when she has written one that’s worth reading!

When Jane is not painting bears etc, she enjoys gardening, sewing and printmaking.

All prints on this site are pulled by Jane on her presses at home. These are not mass market products, but hand made plates, inked up and printed on artist's quality paper. No two are alike, and the print runs are deliberately very small so that Jane doesn’t get bored with seeing the same image too often.
